Charles Bloskis, ADBC Commander

Charles Bloskis was born July 18, 1920.  He enlisted in the Army Sept, 1941. He went overseas in Oct. 1941, assigned to the 59th CAC "G" Battery, Fort Hughes.  He was captured May 6, 1942 and was sent to Camp 3 Cabanatuan to Japan Oct. 1942 then on to Osaka Japan till the surrender.

He married Annette and had three daughters.  He worked in construction for 16 years, then for the Bureau of Mines for 15 years.  He retired in 1975.

Charles Bloskis passed away on October 5, 1998 in Bethel Park, PA.
